Anna Smith Children's Park

WDFW Beach Season Information

Clam, mussel, and oyster seasons OPEN for harvest year-round.

Public tidelands at Anna Smith Park are bounded by private tidelands to the north and south. Boundaries are marked on the beach with large white posts. Public tidelands are in line with the upland property boundaries of the park. Please help us be good neighbors and avoid trespass onto private tidelands.

WDFW shellfish seasons indicate the specific times of year when harvesting is permitted. Before heading to the beach, please also check the Department of Health (DOH) information below which is related to health of the shellfish and may be updated daily. To harvest on this beach, it must be both during the WDFW approved season and approved by the DOH.

Harvest profile

Please be sure to check the D.O.H. website before harvesting shellfish on this beach. This is an area where health closures for shellfish are common. There is a large Manila clam population at Anna Smith Children's Park. There are lesser numbers of native littleneck clams on this beach and there may also be butter clams, and cockles present.
